About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in secondary schools across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Teaching and Learning Experiences: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences across various secondary school subjects.
  • Adapt and Deliver Lesson Plans: In the absence of regular teachers, you will adapt and deliver pre-set lesson plans to ensure continuity of education.
  • Manage Classroom Behavior: You will be responsible for managing classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Assess and Report Student Progress: You will assess and report on students' progress in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: You will work collaboratively with school staff to support the educational development of students.
  • Maintain Professional Standards: You will maintain professional standards and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Secondary School Teaching Experience: You must have experience teaching in secondary schools.
  • Strong Classroom Management Skills: You must have strong classroom management skills to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: You must be able to quickly adapt to different school environments and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: You must have a valid Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
  • Right to Work in the UK: You must have proof of right to work in the UK.
