We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our specialist Travel Team at Experience Travel Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-class service to our clients, building relationships, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and advice to clients on luxury travel experiences in South and Southeast Asia, including India and Sri Lanka.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction scores.
- Work closely with the Travel Team to provide a seamless and personalized service to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the highest level of knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
- Relevant travel industry sales experience, ideally with a history of selling holidays to Sri Lanka and/or India.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Natural sales ability, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of luxury travel experiences in South and Southeast Asia.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary, with a range of £30-£45k, plus up to £4.2k team bonus.
- One two-week familiarisation trip per year.
- Annual personal flight allowance to one of our destinations.
- 23 days holiday each full calendar year, in addition to the usual statutory holidays.
- Pension Contribution of 3%.
- Regular team lunches and socials.
Work Location and Hours:
This is an office-based hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Clapham office, and 4 days encouraged. The hours are 9-6 Monday to Friday, with one Saturday in eight, and a weekday off in lieu.
