Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client's growing team. As a key member of the design and production team, you will be responsible for producing and taking ownership of new designs using 3D CAD, producing detail drawings to BS8888.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products and components using 3D CAD software
  • Produce detail drawings and technical documentation to BS8888 standards
  • Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet customer requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering, with a degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in design and development of mechanical systems and components
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software, including Inventor and CATIA/Solidworks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
