About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our North team in Chippenham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families in Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality social work services to children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective support and safeguarding.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of service delivery through the sharing of knowledge, information, and skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and undertake any necessary team duties.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and families, including child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
