Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team at Wadars Animal Rescue as a Senior Fundraising Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to make a significant impact in securing major donations to support our animal welfare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive major donor fundraising strategy to achieve five and six-figure gifts from high net worth individuals, corporations, and trusts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors, providing exceptional customer service and stewardship.
- Write persuasive funding proposals, cases for support, and progress reports to secure donations and maintain donor engagement.
- Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track donor interactions and develop targeted fundraising strategies.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in major donor fundraising and legacy giving.
Requirements
- Proven track record of achieving significant fundraising results, including five and six-figure gifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
- Experience with CRM systems and fundraising software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and accountability.
