We are seeking a skilled Meter Reader to join our team at United Utilities. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for collecting meter readings from customers' premises, ensuring accurate data collection, and providing excellent customer service.

• Collect meter readings from customers' premises, using company-provided equipment.
• Ensure accurate data collection, adhering to company processes and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns.
• Work independently, visiting customers' premises, and working in a team environment.
• Meet performance targets, adhering to company KPIs and CMex & GSS targets.

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to accurately record data onto company-held meter reading equipment.
• Previous experience of working in a customer-facing environment, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven track record of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets with minimum supervision.
• Confidence in using IT equipment, accurately collecting numerical and written data.
• Flexible attitude to work, willingness to work evenings and weekends to ensure minimum performance standards are met.
• Ability to work alone, in accordance with Company Lone Working Policy, as well as working within a team.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and self-management, with good customer service skills, always prepared to put our customers first.

• A Company van, tablet, and mobile phone will be supplied to enable you to carry out your role.
• You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions and will be required to enter customers' premises, climb stairs, bend to access meters, lift meter lids, etc.
• Disclosure Barring Service check is required.
