The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at Fortem Solutions Ltd. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to manage your own diary, with the flexibility to travel to our branches as needed.

The Project
Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading the Regional Health, Safety and Environment team and supporting the Director for HSE
  2. Providing cover for the other Regional Manager when required
  3. Preparing and presenting monthly board reports
  4. Coordinating work activity and prioritization for the region
  5. Providing guidance and advice to branches on Health and Safety legislation and company policies
  6. Conducting accident investigations and reporting
  7. Developing tailored training materials
  8. Delivering staff and trades induction and training

Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Essential:

  1. NVQ L5 or Diploma in H&S Management
  2. NEBOSH General Certificate
  3. SMTS Certificate
  4. Relevant environmental qualification
  5. Minimum of 3 years relevant sector experience

Desirable:

  1. Membership of a professional institute
  2. NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  3. CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection
