About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Temporary Works, Scaffold, and Formwork Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bristol, Maidstone, or Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering unique and bespoke engineering solutions across all construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and implementation of temporary works, ensuring compliance with CDM/H&S requirements and industry standards.
  2. Manage and coordinate the progress of design projects, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Develop and grow new work streams, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to provide technical support and expertise, working independently on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  5. Conduct site visits, surveys, and develop innovative solutions to ensure ultimate safety and efficiency.
  6. Champion safety and implement a robust strategy in line with Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM2015).
  7. Lead and coordinate tasks for junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  1. Chartered Status with the ICE or IStructE (or in the process of working towards).
  2. Excellent math and general numeracy skills.
  3. Advanced 2D AutoCAD skills.
  4. Ability to read and understand engineering plans, section details, and general arrangements.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Advanced IT skills.
