Aspire People is currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in Primary schools in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
- Support the development and implementation of lesson plans, adapting activities to meet the needs of all students.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Provide targeted support for small groups or 1:1 interventions, particularly for children struggling with mathematics or reading.
- Think on your feet to create engaging and relevant activities that complement the lesson and enhance student understanding.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, at HLTA level.
- Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role are desirable but not essential.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Long-term contract with the option of extending or 'as and when'.
- Developing social and cognitive development.
- Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence.
- Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service.
- Unlock up to £250 referral fee for each recommendation to Aspire People.
