About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Safety Specialist to join our team at Gold Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical safety support and subject matter advice to a wide range of submarine and underwater system related projects.

Your expertise in submarine operations, equipment, and maintenance procedures will enable you to support the delivery of safety projects to schedule, quality, and budget, meeting the requirements of our clients, UK legislation, and associated regulations, standards, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical safety support and subject matter advice to submarine and underwater system related projects
  • Support the delivery of safety projects to schedule, quality, and budget
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation, regulations, standards, and policies
  • Develop and manage hazard logs, support HAZID and hazard review meetings, and author safety assessment/safety case reports
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Experience in submarine operations, equipment, and maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge of UK legislation, regulations, standards, and policies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to professional accreditation
