Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a cutting-edge AI-focused start-up in the transport sector to find a talented Machine Learning Research Scientist to join their team of 15 technical experts.

The Role

As a Machine Learning Research Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing simulation techniques to understand the network in real-time and provide recommendations for real-time interventions
  • Optimising resource allocation using advanced algorithms
  • Applying predictive modelling and deep learning techniques to improve efficiency in the network
  • Working autonomously to take projects from ideation to deployment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or PhD in a relevant subject, such as Operational Research, Maths, Statistics, or Physics
  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer, with a proven track record of working on projects end-to-end
  • Experience working with simulation and/or optimisation techniques
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a start-up environment
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Cloud technology

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000-£80,000, a London office location, and a wider benefits package.
