Water Systems Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Water Systems Technician to become a vital member of our expanding team at Universal Business Team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our services within the water sector.

• Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of pumps and associated mechanical systems.
• Site Assessments: Conduct scheduled site visits, providing comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
• Emergency Response: Attend to urgent service calls, performing necessary repairs while maintaining clear communication with the team.
• Safety Compliance: Uphold safety standards by producing thorough risk assessments and method statements.
• Customer Focus: Maintain a high level of professionalism, prioritizing customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.
• Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance on wastewater systems, identifying and rectifying faults proactively.
• Inventory Management: Stay informed about company policies, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and adequate stock levels.
• On-Call Duties: Participate in the on-call rota to provide after-hours support as needed.

• Proven experience in the pump industry or related construction roles.
• Confined Space Entry Certification.
• Current CSCS Certification.
• Basic electrical training.
• Valid driving license.

• Overtime compensated at time and a half.
• On-call allowance.
