Main Responsibilities- Medicines Reconciliation: You will be responsible for assessing the suitability of patients' medicines on admission and discharge, ensuring accurate and timely supply of medications.
- Stock Management: You will support the management of pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications.
- Operational Pharmacy Satellite Duties: You will work closely with pharmacists to provide an efficient and accurate clinical pharmacy service to patients at ward level.
- Counselling Patients: You will provide patient-focused technical pharmacy services, including counselling patients on their medications.
- General Dispensary Duties: You will participate in general dispensary duties, including dispensing and accuracy checking.
- Professional Registration: You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience: You will have significant experience post-registration relevant to hospital pharmacy practice with assessed competencies.
- Skills: You will be able to provide and receive complex information on medicines use, ward and dispensary services.
