Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team at Humres. As a key member of our Technical Services department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers and sales teams.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Supporting the sale of products through the dissemination of technical information
  • Providing robust technical advice and solutions to design-related problems
  • Conducting in-depth calculations and qualifications of product suitability
  • Correctly specifying products by application
  • Technical approval of drawing submittals
Additional Responsibilities:

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for:

  • Contributing to new product development and product enhancement projects
  • Creating technical documents and drawings for internal and customer use
  • Enhancing our existing library of NBS specifications, CAD, and Revit drawings
  • Assisting the Technical Services Manager in continuous improvement activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Computer literacy, including Autodesk software
  • Experience working with Revit, Inventor, and Fusion 360 (preferred)
  • Good understanding of mathematical and structural principles
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • Good communication skills
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a degree, HNC, or HND in Design, Architectural Technology, an Engineering discipline, or a construction-related curriculum. Suitable previous experience in communicating technical information to a customer base will also be considered.
