We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Maintenance Specialist to join our engineering team at Nationwide Platforms' Depot in Wellingborough.

As a Workshop Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of our depot fleet assets to meet company and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Workshop Service Manager in the efficient operation of the Depot workshop, maintaining machines under repair KPIs at manageable levels.
  • Undertake routine and complex repairs to machines at the depot, ensuring conformance with manufacturers' specifications and company policy.
  • Collaborate with the depot team to minimize the quantity and duration of machines under repair, aligning with depot KPIs.
  • Provide exceptional customer care, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and politeness at all times, and relay customer queries to depot staff as required.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork using the Company's engineering system/application.
  • Update the system on machine status changes, including PDI/PHI carried out, Machine under repair, 6 monthly statutory Inspection completed, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety standards and policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • IPAF Operator Licence.
  • Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience in completing complex engineering repairs.
  • A mature outlook and ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
  • Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  • Ability to use basic functions of the operating system (L-Vis) to complete tasks relevant to the role.
  • Ability to complete basic company administration processes in line with the role.
