Accommodation Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accommodation Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. As an Accommodation Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and check guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Vacuum rooms and corridors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient room status updates.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistent throughout the hotel.
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Restock and maintain trolleys on a daily basis to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling housekeeping procedures, including embedding lost and found procedures.
  • Report and log any rooms that do not require service to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
  • Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste accordingly.
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
