Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and providing guidance to Estimating Engineers
  • Conducting the initial technical and contractual assessment of tender inquiries
  • Preparing accurate estimates in accordance with quality assurance protocols
  • Securing competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for project estimates
  • Performing take-offs
  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary quotes and information for tenders
  • Participating in site visits

What you will need:
  • Relevant qualifications (HNC, ONC, or City and Guilds)
  • Experience with estimating in sectors such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Nuclear
  • Knowledge of Estimating and Commercial Practices
  • Understanding of Engineering Practices
  • Familiarity with Project Management Principles
  • Awareness of HSE Systems and Compliance
  • Knowledge of QA Systems and Compliance
  • High level of computer proficiency
