We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in Craven Arms. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance Manager and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting Purchase Orders: Accurately and efficiently inputting purchase orders into the system, ensuring all necessary details are captured.
  • Preparing and Coding Purchase Invoices: Preparing and coding purchase invoices for payment, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Posting Purchase Transactions: Posting purchase transactions into the accounting system, ensuring all necessary details are captured and accurate.
  • Other Administrative Tasks: Assisting with other administrative tasks as required, such as data entry and filing.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently complete tasks.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
