Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The successful candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services and be passionate about creating delicious dining experiences that fuel young minds and ignite taste buds.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes.

You will maintain the cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils, and follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.

Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, and participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
