About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving practice in central Berkshire. As a key member of our Private Client department, you will play a vital role in managing the current team and overseeing a broad range of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise families and individuals on matters including will drafting, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and court of protection work.
  • Deal with inheritance tax, income tax, and capital gains tax issues arising during estate administration.
  • Provide holistic advice to clients, working with accountants, financial advisers, and care agencies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
  • Enthusiastic and friendly approach, with good academics and previous people management experience.
  • STEP membership is a distinct advantage, as is experience of working in a busy private client department.
What We Offer
  • Negotiable salary dependent on experience (£42,000-£55,000).
  • Opportunity to work with a growing 5-Partner private practice law firm.
