We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our NPI team, where you will collaborate with a wider technology team to develop concept designs through to production.

This role offers the chance to work with diverse and intriguing technology, including low-temperature (cryogenics) and superconducting magnet systems.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet the technical requirements of our customers, providing technical support for the manufacture, installation, and ongoing lifecycle of our products. You will work on mechanical designs, utilizing CAD, CAE, and analysis tools to guarantee safety and functionality. Additionally, you will suggest technical design improvements and value engineering to optimize costs, operations, and service friendliness.

About the Role

To succeed in this position, you will have previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, working on complex systems, with the ability to create robust CAD models and drawings that comply with quality standards. You will also have experience in the use of FEA, FMEA, and risk analysis, with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
