Contract Role

Piccadilly One is collaborating with a UK-based organisation to harmonise and enhance its core ERP platform, SAP. This opportunity is part of the organisation's Group Finance function, reporting directly to the IT Director.

The SAP Financial Consultant will provide process and technical expertise to the Business, delivering support and advisory services on core business systems and applications, business process improvement, and applications architecture.

The role focuses on improving and managing the Finance and Procurement solution in SAP, as well as all functionally related applications (whether integrated or not).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Finance and Procurement solutions.
  • Design and implement a group SAP Financial model.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver a functional and technical roadmap for the improvement of the SAP Financial and Procurement solution, focusing on solution value generation and process efficiency.
  • Identify, design, and implement relevant systems integrations to further improve and streamline business processes.
  • Manage and coordinate SAP Finance (FICO, PS), SAP Procurement (MM) and related applications support activities.
  • Provide hands-on (3rd level) SAP and Business support where applicable and relevant.
  • Responsible for the application architecture supporting Finance and Procurement processes and activities – ensure business process documentation is up to date, application lifecycles are managed and documented, application functional overlaps are minimised, and gaps addressed.
  • Manage and deliver business and process improvement projects.
  • Responsible for producing technical and functional specifications based on business requirements.
  • Identify, design, and where relevant deliver key user and end-user training.

Requirements:

  • SAP FICO Configuration – Expert Level
  • SAP MM/PS Configuration – Advanced Level
  • Technical Data Management (Migration, Cleansing etc.)
  • SAP ECC Configuration, Testing, Training and Support (PM, PS, MM)
  • SAP S/4 Migration, Configuration and Support would be an advantage
  • Application Support and Management (outside of SAP)
  • Application Integration
  • Knowledge of Asset Management within complex engineering industries
  • Business and Technical Requirements Analysis
  • Knowledge of SAP Products and Roadmaps, SAP PM, S/4.
  • Knowledge of SAP Development Concepts and Practice
