We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on all people-related issues, working closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
Main Responsibilities- HR Advisory Services
- Provide first-line generalist HR advice and support on terms and conditions of employment, HR policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with the Director of HR to resolve matters on advice.
- HR Systems and Processes
- Maintain systems and processes such as recruitment, employment contracts, leavers, and appraisals.
- Arrange and attend informal/formal meetings and hearings with the Director of HR, ensuring accurate paperwork.
- Employee Support and Guidance
- Provide advice and guidance on absence issues and return-to-work cases to managers.
- Work closely with the finance team to resolve employee-related matters.
- Investigations and Compliance
- Act as a liaison with management to provide advice and guidance on job design, recruitment, induction, best practices, and company procedures.
- Work closely with the UK HR team and US HR team on HRIS systems to manage updates and implementation.
- Employee Communications
- Serve as a point of contact with benefit providers/administrators.
- Participate in recruitment efforts by consulting with recruitment agencies.
- Performance Management
- Maintain performance management systems and processes.
- Act as one of the Mental Health First Aiders.
- Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of working in Human Resources as an established HR Advisor.
- Full or part CIPD qualified.
- Personal Attributes
- Strong interpersonal skills.
