Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Support Engineer to oversee the upkeep of our rail freight vehicles at our Rugby facility. Your primary duties will involve executing maintenance tasks, conducting repairs, and performing evaluations to guarantee the operational safety and effectiveness of our rail assets.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on locomotives and rolling stock.
  • Execute tests to evaluate the performance of rail freight equipment.
  • Ensure a safe working environment while complying with industry regulations and standards.
  • Adhere to company protocols for maintenance operations and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Possess an NVQ level 3 in a relevant engineering field.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
