Carter Jonas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rural Surveyor to join our national Infrastructure and Regeneration team.

We are a leading property consultancy with a long history of delivering high-profile projects across the UK.

  • We work on a diverse range of projects, including transport links, city and town centre developments, clean energy initiatives, and biodiversity gains.
  • Our team collaborates with clients from national infrastructure providers and utilities to developers, councils, and private individuals.
  • We have expertise in all types of property, including coastal, rural, commercial, industrial, and residential properties.

We offer a comprehensive training program, including our annual Academy, and provide client-facing professional advice on valuation, acquisition, and disposal of land and rights.

  • Our team provides estates management services for a wide range of portfolio types.
  • We offer guidance and supervision to Graduate surveyors in the team.
  • We participate in the development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan.
  • We ensure policy implementation and legal compliance.

We welcome applications from the public or private sector or those returning to work after a career break.

  • MRICS accreditation and RICS Registered Valuer experience are desirable.
  • Good time management and strong communication skills, including report writing, are essential.
  • Previous experience of driving projects forward and establishing new relationships is advantageous.
