Transactional Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transactional Finance Manager to join our team at Inspired Pet Nutrition. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Transactional Finance Shared Services Centre, ensuring excellent customer service, timely and accurate processing, and effective cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Receivable Ledger, ensuring minimal overdue debt, efficient cash collection, and a clean ledger.
- Manage the Accounts Payable Ledger, ensuring timely processing of invoices, query resolution, and supplier payments, minimizing supplier holds and debit balances.
- Lead and develop the Transactional Services team, optimizing performance, succession planning, and ensuring process notes and cross-training.
- Drive automation and technological development of the Transactional Shared Service function, aligned with a roadmap agreed with the Director of Finance, Governance, and Control.
- Develop and roll out a cash collection and credit management cycle.
- Support system upgrades and successful roll-outs across the team.
- Support site teams and management accountants by delivering an accurate, accelerated close timetable, liaising with external auditors to support the year-end audit.
- Plan and execute the Transactional Finance integration into the Shared Service function.
Requirements
- AAT qualification or demonstration of financial admin experience is preferable but not essential.
- Experience of working as a shared services manager or manager within an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function is desirable.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizing skills in a fast-paced finance environment.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management, attention to detail, and processes with accuracy, but able to see the high-level view.
- Positive approach to work and problem-solving, leadership experience, and good Excel skills.
