About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efforts of our team to continuously improve and increase the sophistication of mapping and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Reporting: Perform analysis on resilience documentation to identify, articulate vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities to improve resilience.
  • Scenario Testing: Participate in group scenario testing to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to improve operational resilience, including the design and creation of tests with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the business.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure any vulnerabilities and actions identified during scenario testing or lessons learned exercises are agreed with owners and documented in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience of working in a role that includes analyzing complex data.
  • Business Acumen: Experience of process mapping, business continuity/resilience planning, or assessment of IT/operational risk would be an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: An interest in financial regulations and operational resilience.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to format and manipulate data in Excel, including experience with formulas, tables, and data presentation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience of articulating risks and solutions, and understanding the Operational Resilience regulations.
