Job Title: General Manager Proximo UK and Ireland

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our UK and Ireland operations for Proximo, a leading global spirits company.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong commercial and general management background, with a proven track record of driving sustainable growth in the premium spirits sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the P&L for the business in the UK and Ireland, heading up all commercial, sales, marketing, and business development activities.

They will be a structured, organized, and methodical manager, with the ability to work at pace when needed and bring passion, energy, and strong people leadership to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the P&L for the business in the UK and Ireland
  • Head up all commercial, sales, marketing, and business development activities
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive sustainable growth in the premium spirits sector
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong commercial and general management background, with a proven track record of driving sustainable growth in the premium spirits sector
  • Significant experience in the On and Off premise and route to market sectors
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business plans to drive growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
