Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Aircraft Technician to work on Ch47 / Chinook aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair. The successful candidate will have experience in both structural and mechanical system disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly, disassembly, and modification of systems by conducting the change, removal, replacement, or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Conduct assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and associated electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Validate and verify testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with peers to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle.
  • Provide mentoring to peers and others.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have over 3 years' experience working on Ch47 Aircraft and be familiar with specifications and drawings.
  • Experience working within a team of aircraft technicians.
  • Vocational based trade training is essential.
  • Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision with limited direction.
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance is vital for this role.

Please note that only UK residents with 5 years continuous residency and the right to remain can be considered for this role.
