About the Role:
Our client, a distinguished independent educational institution, is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Team Leader to oversee the development of their rising 2-year-old class. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fostering engaging and creative learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Early Years Team Leader, you will:
1. Manage the daily operations of the classroom.
2. Design and implement enriching, creative, and stimulating activities tailored to the developmental stages of the children, promoting their growth and potential.
3. Plan and assess activities, utilizing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to enhance learning outcomes.
4. Supervise and lead educational activities, ensuring that individual learning needs are met through careful observation and assessment.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date online learning journals and observations, reflecting the progress of each child.
6. Conduct Two Year Progress Checks, engaging with parents to discuss findings and support children's development.
7. Identify children who may require additional support or advanced learning opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- An accredited Early Years qualification.
- Extensive experience in Early Years education.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS).
