Job Title: Apprentice Credit Controller

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract Length: 6 months fixed term contract

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Credit Controller to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the collection of overdue payments in line with our Service Level Agreements via telephone and post.

You will need to be aware of credit risk on credit accounts and conduct credit limit reviews when applicable. At times, it will be necessary to initiate legal processes when all other collection means have failed.

Previous experience of working within a busy Credit Control team with specific experience in Services and the collection of monies is essential to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection of overdue payments via telephone and post
  • Awareness of credit risk on credit accounts and conducting credit limit reviews
  • Initiation of legal processes when all other collection means have failed
  • Previous experience of working within a busy Credit Control team

Requirements
  • Previous experience of working within a busy Credit Control team
  • Specific experience in Services and the collection of monies
  • Competent computer skills with experience of Microsoft Office Suite and Google
  • Experience of Workday would be advantageous but not essential
