Embarking on Your Journey:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to execute effective maintenance tasks, including both repairs and preventative measures, to uphold exceptional brand standards and pristine guest facilities. You will take pride in your contributions while collaborating closely with team members to achieve outstanding results. A solid understanding of health and safety practices related to hazardous materials, working at heights, and conducting risk assessments is essential.

Within the dedicated Maintenance and Engineering Department, your duties will include:

  • Ensuring all hotel supplies and services are functioning optimally.
  • Addressing daily maintenance requests as directed by the Property Coordinator or Facilities Manager.
  • Performing routine machinery testing and maintenance on hotel equipment.
  • Conducting structured PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) to a high standard.
  • Executing any necessary remedial or reactive maintenance tasks within our properties.
  • Maintaining all electrical systems and conducting quarterly RCD (Residual Circuit Device) tests.
  • Providing on-call support alongside the Facilities Manager or as needed.

On your first day, you will embark on a structured 12-week training program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of building regulations
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • Knowledge of building services, including plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work
  • A high level of skill in tiling and grouting
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
