Position: LV Electrician

Salary: £44,000 + Van

Location: London Area

Alecto Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent organization in the Anaerobic Digestion industry seeking an LV Electrician to oversee multiple facilities in the London region.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organizational standards.
  • Enhance, maintain, and repair essential process control instrumentation.
  • Conduct maintenance on electric motor drive systems and associated control systems, including basic motor starters and inverters.
  • Diagnose, repair, and modify electrical systems as necessary.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate instrumentation such as pressure and level transducers, temperature probes, and flow meters.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of electricians to develop and improve ongoing electrical maintenance schedules.
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and inspections.
  • Execute repairs and inspections on ATEX-rated equipment in compliance with COMPEX standards.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completed electrical apprenticeship with an NVQ3 or equivalent.
  • Current knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations.
  • COMPEX 1-4 certification.
  • C&G Confined Space Level 2 or higher.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Proficient in fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements for contractor engagement.
  • Ability to utilize standard company software packages.
  • Experience working in anaerobic digestion or wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Trained LV SAP (Senior Authorised Person).
  • C&G Periodic Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
