Outsourcing Senior

Full time permanent role - office based with flexibility to work from home on occasions

Role based in East Sussex. The office is around 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest mainline station.

Salary - £34,000-£38,000 per annum plus very good company benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an established and very successful organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing junior team members' work

• Supporting juniors in their professional development

• Responding to and anticipating clients' needs

• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns

• Preparing consolidations and cash flows for management accounts

• Preparing and reviewing management accounts

• Managing multiple deadlines at once

• Ensuring a high level of service to meet clients' expectations

Requirements:

• Evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player who is confident in working to changing priorities in a busy department

• A natural organiser with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment

• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or can be Qualified by Experience

• Previous proven bookkeeping, VAT and management accountants experience

• Good level of VAT knowledge

• Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks

• Strong experience in a small/medium sized practice
