Job Description

**About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for delivering strategic procurement and contract advice to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to clients
  • Manage and collaborate with a team on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes
  • Support the development of procurement services and business development initiatives
  • Support the delivery of team and business targets
  • Support bid preparation and proposal documentation

**Requirements:

  • Experience of leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment
  • Experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors
  • Strong background in tender preparation and development of respective documents in relevant sectors
  • Experience of leading and/or supporting in supplier engagement activities
  • Cross sector experience with Public/Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent
  • Ability to develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context
  • Understanding of commercial principles and modelling

**Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement

**What We Offer:
