Lead Electronic Design Engineer

Join our client's innovative team as a Lead Electronic Design Engineer and contribute to the development of next-generation products. This exciting opportunity is based in Chard, Somerset, with potential for hybrid working and flexible patterns.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading design work in a similar manufacturing business, leveraging your expertise in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a relevant discipline. Your significant knowledge and experience will enable you to drive commercial success through negotiation techniques, supply chain management, and customer relationship development.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and developing innovative electronic products using Altium Designer.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.
  3. Diagnosing and mitigating EMC/EMI problems.
  4. Developing and implementing best practice design guides, rules, and manufacturing techniques.
  5. Hands-on testing and evaluation using a range of test equipment.
