Matchtech is in search of a proactive Product Safety Assurance Engineer to join our engineering division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest safety protocols are upheld across our innovative maritime initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for Product Safety Assurance related to the design of equipment, adhering to client specifications.
- Integrate safety considerations throughout the design process, taking into account the entire product lifecycle.
- Oversee and implement the Project Safety Management System for equipment design and delivery.
- Adapt and enhance working methodologies to ensure effective and economical management of product safety.
- Address a variety of Product Safety engineering challenges, producing technical documentation and presentations as necessary.
- Develop safety arguments for diverse equipment, utilizing all aspects of the product safety lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Product Safety standards as dictated by regulatory, corporate, and client requirements in heavy-duty equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of Product Safety Engineers across the organization.
Candidates should possess:
- A degree in a relevant Engineering, Systems, or Safety discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent experience with the potential to achieve it in the near future.
- A proven track record in delivering a Product Safety Management System (PSMS) within a complex system environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to protecting lives and assets in a demanding environment and excel in a dynamic, forward-thinking atmosphere.
