Job Summary

A unique opportunity for a senior nurse leader to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The Divisional Director of Nursing will be responsible for the effectiveness of professional leadership and development of nursing within the Division and other allocated areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote new roles from Advanced Clinical Practitioners to Nurse Associates across secondary and community care.
  • Develop patient-centred care and improve services to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to achieve changed clinical practice and improve services.
  • Ensure equality and diversity are applied in managing self, staff, and patients.
  • Manage budgets and finances effectively.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of leadership and management in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of equality and diversity and its application in managing self, staff, and patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence at a senior level.
