We are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join our team at a well-established legal firm in Leeds. As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for cashiering, banking, and raising cheques, as well as allocating and transmitting CHAPS payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Banking and raising cheques
  • Allocating and transmitting CHAPS payments
  • Taking payment over the phone
  • Investigating and resolving balances on ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations
Requirements:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confidence when dealing with customers over the phone
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Good team player with ability to work on own initiative
  • Previous Accounts clerk experience desirable
