About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Field Engineer to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a CCTV Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch security solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Security Systems: Install, configure, and maintain Intruder alarms, Access control Systems, CCTV systems, Network systems, and End user IT hardware.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in the setup and operation of Axis cameras and Risco Intruder Alarms.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems and network hardware.
  • Network Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Network switches and WIFI Units, with a strong foundation in Cisco and HP systems.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Technical Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in security technology and networking protocols.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in installing and maintaining security systems, including CCTV, Intruder alarms, and Access control Systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Axis cameras and Risco Intruder Alarms is highly preferred.
  • Networking Expertise: Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and HP Network switches and WIFI Units.
  • Hardware Familiarity: Familiarity with various types of End user IT hardware.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driving License: UK Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
