Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Port and Marine team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with a technical focus and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple projects and manage a team of engineers and technicians
- Develop and implement technical solutions to meet client requirements
- Collaborate with other disciplines and clients to ensure clear understanding of scope and deliverables
- Manage inputs, meeting client requirements to agreed costs and quality
- CEng / IEng qualified in civil or structural engineering
- Experience of checking and reviewing technical specifications, reports and technical notes to a high standard
- Mentoring of staff to achieve technical solution and provide support to develop their knowledge and experience
- Good understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes and best practice in the maritime environment
- Good understanding of CDM, Safety in design and CEMD
