About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our MEP Delivery Unit at Laing O'Rourke. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering electrical packages from design to commissioning and handover on major flagship projects in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver electrical packages for large-scale projects
  • Collaborate with senior management, designers, consultants, and clients to ensure technical matters are addressed
  • Apply engineering principles and calculations to ensure high-quality designs
  • Establish and oversee local implementation of engineering systems, documentation, and controls to comply with H&S legislation and company standards
  • Hold a first degree in an Engineering Discipline (electrical), or a related field, or an industry-recognized technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4+)
