Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our Highways team in a permanent role. The position is accessible from various locations, including Leeds, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial estimating strategies to secure new business opportunities and enhance tender success.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of subcontractor/supplier quotations and manage tender handover reports.
  • Oversee the production and submission of all pricing work, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with tenders and contracts.
Requirements:
  • Commercial estimating background in highways surfacing experience in civil engineering is highly valued.
  • Operational experience in the highways sector, with expertise in pricing tenders for local authority and major schemes.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, with a focus on detail and a drive to succeed, improve, and innovate.
  • Working knowledge of NEC 3 and 4 forms of contract.
