Role Summary:

The PMO Consultant plays a crucial role within the Engagement Management Community, providing essential administrative assistance to Engagement Managers in the realm of Projects and Programmes. This role encompasses a variety of support functions, from establishing processes and governance frameworks to offering straightforward assistance that allows Engagement Managers to concentrate on more intricate delivery challenges. Our team, which operates across various locations, is composed of individuals with diverse skill sets, ranging from generalists to specialists in specific areas. The focus is on maximizing chargeable roles while fostering an environment conducive to skill development and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the PMO Team and report to the PMO Manager as required.
• Deliver back-office support across multiple projects, working closely with engagement and project managers.
• Engage in all PMO functions, including financial oversight and project planning.
• Facilitate an environment that promotes professional growth and skill enhancement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with a background in finance preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Prior experience in PMO roles is essential.
• Self-motivated and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable to various detailed tasks as needed.

Security Requirements:

Applicants must possess Security Check (SC) Clearance to be considered for this position. To qualify for SC clearance, candidates must have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for the past five years, among other criteria.
