Job Title: IT Environment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Environment Manager to join our team at RENISHAW PLC. As an IT Environment Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Azure-based environments and associated application software releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage change and release plans to ensure smooth delivery of technical changes to our application stack.
  2. Identify and mitigate potential risks to service delivery, ensuring that changes are authorized, scheduled, and implemented in a controlled and efficient manner.
  3. Coordinate key stakeholders at all levels throughout the release process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Deliver major releases alongside small change, urgent change, service improvements, and maintenance, applying and contributing to release governance.
  5. Build and maintain system environments, including associated security, to ensure the integrity and reliability of our IT systems.
Requirements:
  1. Strong understanding of Azure platform management tools, including Azure Management Portal, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Power Platform Admin Centre.
  2. Knowledge of Cost Management, Resource management, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  3. Experience of working in a structured IT department in a similar role, responsible for the control and management of multiple enterprise application environments, both on-premise and cloud-based.
  4. Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to task completion.
  5. Understanding of ERP products, preferably Microsoft D365 (F&O and CE) solutions and architecture.
Person Specification:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced IT professional with a strong background in Azure platform management and release governance. You will have at least two years of professional experience in managing complex Azure-based environments and the controlled release of software applications.

You will be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time, thrive in a dynamic hybrid environment, and enjoy using and maintaining your up-to-date knowledge of technology and best practices to grow your own skills and those of your team members.
