About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Avery Healthcare. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive exceptional culinary care and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to ensure that all hydration and nutritional needs are met, and that our residents receive a high-quality dining experience.
  • Support and deliver all catering services throughout the home, maintaining resident choice, dignity, confidentiality, and safety.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas, aligned with resident preferences.
  • Liaise with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to develop imaginative and interesting themes for special events.
  • Ensure that staff are trained, supervised, and appraised accordingly, promoting a culture of excellence in culinary service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations.
  • Previous experience in team leadership in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated compassion, commitment, and leadership in the delivery of culinary services to residents.
  • Experience working in a similar setting, with restaurant or hotel experience being desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food and Hygiene or Catering Services.
