Job Summary:

Stamford Endowed Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our estates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular estates compliance checks to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the maintenance team, including scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs, including minor tasks and projects.
  • Set up staging, lock/unlock buildings, and distribute stock as required.
  • Act as a designated key holder for emergencies and provide support during critical situations.

Role Information:

  • This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts.
  • The salary for this role is £23,276 per annum.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
