About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at KION Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of planned and unplanned maintenance, coordinating and providing logistical support for the shift and day engineering team, and developing and delivering maintenance strategy and plans that support our current customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cover for the Engineering Manager during their absence.
  • Develop and produce a PPM maintenance plan that ensures all recommended, legislative, and essential maintenance activities can be executed by on-site or off-site engineer teams.
  • Ensure all activities are legally compliant.
  • Plan works against resource and communicate with the customer.
  • Provide technical data to engineering management in the form of reports, measures, or any other format required.
  • Use on-site and customer information and data to execute various forms of maintenance, condition-based, calendar-based, or run-time analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work within H&S guidelines.
  • Carry out quality checks on work completed.
  • Investigate work not completed or rescheduled to establish cause.
  • Hold regular briefings/meetings with the Engineering Manager.
Requirements
  • HND ideally, HNC minimum.
  • Previous experience in maintenance planning and techniques essential.
  • Health and Safety experience.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical background.
  • Understand the customers' business and goals.
