Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction project and ensuring that all operations on the site are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the construction project and ensure that all operations on the site are carried out in accordance with the project plan and budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the quality of work and materials is upheld and that all quality control standards are met.
  • Site Management: Organize and supervise site staff, trades, and contractors to ensure that they are performing as required and reporting progress.
  • Project Scheduling: Create, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed.
  • Financial Management: Ensure that the budget is followed and work with the Project Manager to manage all Division 1 costs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in construction as a Mid-Rise/ICI Site Superintendent working on multiple full-cycle mid-rise/ICI developments (5+ storeys).
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. preferred).
  • Certifications: All necessary certifications, including Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid, and Basics of Supervision.
  • Skills: Thorough knowledge of designing and building large-scale multi-family construction projects and ability to read construction working drawings.
