Job Title: Finance and Operations Director

Job Summary:

The Finance and Operations Director will oversee and manage the financial and operational performance of the ACCELERATE project, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations and DAI policies. This role will lead the development and implementation of project management systems, policies, and procedures, and will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of project management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with USAID regulations and DAI policies.
  • Oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance.
  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of project staff.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and procedures.
  • Manage project procurement and logistics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements:

  • University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, office administration, grants and procurement, project operations, and human resources management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory-level role.
  • Previousexperience working on USAID funded programs with demonstrated experience leading and managing the financial and grants management aspects of USAID projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly and ethically.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
